What statement did you underestimate but now consider to be a great truth worth remembering?

“The mistakes of youth are the that are most costly.”

times I heard this statement from my mother but I never internalized it, I replied: the price of a mistake is not defined by the age of the person who makes it.

Today I realize that it is true, and that what makes them expensive is that you drag them along all life.

I’m the one repeating it to my daughter, and although she answers: yes, Mom, I know, I imagine that I shouldn’t be more successful than my mother . It is known that no one makes fun of other people’s heads.

My regards.
