“The mistakes of youth are the ones that are most costly.”
Many times I heard this statement from my mother but I never internalized it, rather I replied: the price of a mistake is not defined by the age of the person who makes it.
Today I realize that it is true, and that what makes them more expensive is that you drag them along all your life.
Now I’m the one repeating it to my daughter, and although she answers: yes, Mom, I know, I imagine that I shouldn’t be more successful than my mother was. It is known that no one makes fun of other people’s heads.
